We ordered the Fried Mixed Mushrooms, Fusilli Melanzane, and Margherita Pizza. The basket bread was dense and fluffy, with no crunch to the crust, the opposite of what I like in bread. But thankfully, this was the only thing I found disappointing. The Fried Mixed Mushrooms had great flavor, and contrast between the crunchy batter and chewy moist mushroom. The Fusilli Melanzane had the perfect al dente texture to the corkscrew pasta and the eggplants, and both pick up the flavorful sauce well. It was perhaps the best pasta I've ever had. The Margherita Pizza's red sauce was remarkably cool against the rest of the pizza's warmth. They explained that this was due to the thin crust, allowing a quick cook time that melts the cheese but lets the sauce stay more liquid.
