Great fish and chips. This is by far our favorite place for this.

The place is expensive for what it looks and tastes like . The food is just satisfactory. Wouldn’t go there again.

I’d also like to mention that today was my daughters birthday lunch, and she chose Riverside Cafe even though she usually chooses IHOP or Island Cafe in Anacortes. When we arrived we were checked on promptly, so that was nice. I mentioned to the waitress (just like I have at every other restaurant in the past on my children’s birthday) that it was her 11th birthday today. Most places sing to the child or give a scoop of ice cream or small piece of cake. It’s not a huge deal, but it does make them feel special. :-) Anyways, when I told the waitress this information she just looked at me and walked away. Not even a “Happy Birthday!” And obviously no treat and I wasn’t going to bother bringing it up again. it was way to hot in establishment, the thermostat said 76 not to pleasant to dine in with such heat.

The Fish and Chips were delicious...and not greasy! Our server was wonderful!
